Gregg Brown
Gregg joined the family company in 1995 and became Chief Executive in 1997. Throughout this period the company has continued to grow, maintaining a strong involvement within the industry, striving to bring new innovation to its market sectors and develop an environment that supports its employees’ personal development.
Gregg is currently on the Executive of the LPGA of New Zealand and a member of Gas Equipment Suppliers (GES) and GANZ. He is the past chairperson of GES and a past-director with GANZ.
Prior working with Aber, Gregg spent 6 years with Ernst & Young as a management consultant primarily working on strategic marketing and business planning projects. He is a member on the NZ Society of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Directors. His qualifications include: Chartered Accountant (CA), and a Bachelor of Management Degree from Waikato University.

Des Hammond
Des is an experienced company director and executive with more than 30 years of bank, governance and consulting industry leadership, change management and restructuring in the banking, education and export sectors including postings in Hong Kong, Australia and the Middle East.
During his career Des was managing director of Security Pacific Bank (NZ), State Bank of South Australia (NZ) and United Bank. He was also CEO of a Multi Serve Education Trust and Cognition Consulting during a period of rapid growth in services delivered in Qatar and Abu Dhabi. Des has also assisted KPMG with the re-launch of its corporate restructuring service.
Laurie Margrain
Laurie brings a wealth of senior management and boardroom experience to Aber having held a number of CEO roles with Masport Group and subsequently Skellerup Group both in Australia and New Zealand. He spent seven years as CEO and Managing Director of Criterion Group. Laurie has served on School Boards of Trustees, as Chairman of North Harbour Rugby and as a Director of the Blues Super Rugby Franchise.
He is currently Chairman of Open Country Dairy Ltd., a Director of a number of private companies, is President of the Employers and Manufacturers Association (Northern) Inc. and Business New Zealand
